OUR FOUNDER

Kevin Lemieux founded Square Feet Home Inspections after a successful career with one of New England’s largest home inspection providers. From this experience, he was able to observe dozens of home inspectors, identify positive inspection traits and weave those observations into an effective, comprehensive and educational home inspection. To date, Kevin has been involved in over 1500 home inspections.

Prior to becoming a home inspector, Kevin’s extensive background spanned the construction industry with a focus on the building science and sustainability segments. His resume includes over 15 years in the building of new and restoring of old homes throughout the Merrimack Valley and Southern NH. His passion for energy efficiency and sustainable building technologies is unique among home inspectors. Previously, Kevin was a Mass Save Energy Auditor, performing over 500 Mass Save residential energy assessments. 

Kevin holds a home inspector’s license in both the states of Massachusetts (Lic. #1001) and New Hampshire (Lic. #594). He has a BA in Communications from the University of Massachusetts and a Renewable Energy Certification from Greenfield Community College. When not inspecting homes, Kevin can be found working on his own home in Durham NH, hiking, fishing and/or generally enjoying the great outdoors with his wife, Mrs. Lemieux, and dogs, Winston and Zoey.
